Skeletal Tools, Mirror doesn't find and replace children left / right

Noticing that the Skeletal Editing Tools > Mirror option does a fine job flipping things across the axis, but is not renaming the joints. The top level joint is renamed from L to R, but all mirrored children are ignored. Their numbers are incremented though.

Anyone else experiencing this?
