Skeletal mesh USD export (5.6) to blender (5.0)

I try to export one (later several) skeletalmeshes with a floor via the USD exporter.

The position of the floor and character blueprint are correct. But the animations don’t play in Blender.

baked to FK Control Rig or not makes no differences. It seems to ignore the sequence and the character is just A-posing.

“Ignore sequencer animations” is unchecked

End time set to frame 320.

I tried to reimport the USD to unreal… and i cannot find the animations aswell!?

My goal is, to add fluid (and maybe cloth) animations inside blender, and just “put them on top” of my character in unreal (for example, as geometry cache).
