I have various Matinee sequences, where the skeletal mesh actor disappears from cam view when I preview the sequence by scrubbing. If i drag the camera back a bit it pops back in, but pops away again if I reset the camera.
I found out that I can work around it a bit, by clicking visibilty off and on again in the actors rendering preferences. However, it’s pretty annoying workflow wise for the render/lighting process.
I think this may have had something to do with the change to 4.11 as everything seemed fine before that.
Hi Mads,
Do you have a physics asset assigned to your skeletal mesh? If so, you may be running into this issue.
If not, could you expand on how you’re using multiple matinees?
-.
Thanks . I’m pretty sure I haven’t assigned a physics asset, so I’ll look into that.

Well, this is for a prerendered scene that we are going to render out and post-process, so my set up is basically just having the 3 matinee’s in my root, each with their own skeletal mesh actor and an parent actor as a “scene root” so I can place the scene where I need it. I then set each of them to “play at level load” when I need to render them out.
So adding a physics asset didn’t resolve the issue? If not, would you mind sending me a link to your project? You can PM me a download link on the forums.
