Skeletal Mesh Animation Question

So I’m very new at this and still have a long way to go but i digress.

So i made just a small little animation in sequencer of my little slime guy i made in blender moving. it’s a skeletal mesh and I’m able to bake it but when i do that and double click the newly baked animation nothing happens in the preview.

It’s only being animated with the transform option as i just need it to move a bit on the x-axis and scale on the z-axis a bit up and down as it moves. Attached is a screenshot of the sequencer panel and a little video of the little goober moving when i click play on the sequencer. Any help is appreciated and I’m sure I’ll be back with many more questions lol
