Iris Singapore are looking to bolster our development capabilities and we’re looking for highly motivated, top level generalists who are able to go from concept sketches and storyboarding, through to highly detailed and optimized experiences specifically for Unreal Engine. We create high quality Virtual/Augmented Reality experiences & games at events that nobody else in the world does.
Majority of the work would be for one of a kind experiences where we can integrate in 4D effects and build the set design to suit our needs. We also work across mobile VR and create high quality 360 Videos for use across Google Cardboard and other devices. For majority of these projects you will not be constrained by the usual game development requirements. We usually work with events based experiences so we are able to do completely unique, one off designs using physical props, custom designed hardware or tracking physical objects. You will be working very closely with a small, highly skilled and ambitious team. No two days will be alike and you will be expected to learn on the fly.
You should:
Have a strong command of spoken and written English
Have an excellent understanding of blueprint scripting and/or c++
Have a solid understanding of 3D modelling and optimization for games on desktop and mobile
Understand lighting and PBR materials
Be comfortable working with source control
Comfortable working with a team of creatives and technical people
Be willing to learn and do things outside of your job description
