Thank you for providing your call stack, however I have a few more questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. Could you provide screen shots of any blueprints that may be involved with this issue?

It would seem the error is in my blueprint. In a clean project all bps open normally but the imported bp from previous project still crashes my editor. The question is how can I correct what ever coding error I have when I cant even look at the bp?
p.s. the bluprint crashing is a custom pathfinder for 2d sidecroller game so remaking from scratch is very bothersome indeed.

You could try and used a back up that is created automatically. It can be found by default at “C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Unreal Projects\YourProjectName\Saved\Backup”. You could navigate to an older version of the blueprint to before the crash started. Another suggestion would be to move the blueprint itself to another project by cutting and pasting it from one content folder to another. This will break all references but may allow you to open it to correct the cause of the crash.
