I would like to be able to simulate physics on the whole character’s body (minus pelvis), but the moment I do that, gravity pulls the head down and he just crumples.
If I turn gravity off, he floats around like he’s in space.
Setting the “physics blend weight” doesn’t help either, I think behind the scenes the character is still crumpling and so all the body parts are out of position and none of the interactions I am attempting to do with the character, like grabbing limbs, etc, make any sense.
I have so far been unsuccessful in getting any of the settings that I can find to make the character relatively stable while simulating, but still respond to being “grabbed” or knocked around by objects, etc.
