Simulate Bending Foliage using Constraints


So let’s say you play a giraffe and want to eat some delicious plants from a huge tree. How could I simulate so that once I hit the “eat” key, the mouth is constraint to a single leaf, the tree bends in my direction if I pull and if I pull strong enough (walk backwards) the constraints break and the leaf vanishes ?

I think it can be done using physics constraints I just don’t know where to start since I never used them. How can I make the tree stationary but still bending towards me ? I alreay have a physics asset for my tree, but I don’t know how to link those two and create that desired effect. Anyone who has some ideas maybe ? Thanks a lot in advance!
