Cryengine has many flaws, however one aspect it excels in is the ease in adding landscape materials and adjusting them only the fly. I think UE4 would benefit from a more streamlined landscape material workflow as demonstrated by cryengine, simply add the materials to your selection and paint. please get back to me with your opinions on this because I’ve always found UE4’s landscape material setup painful and time consuming.
Totally agree with you, it’s very cumbersome right now. Our project is way to far gone to benefit from a simpler way of doing it now though.
