Simplify Error: Square patterns

Hey guys, Anyone encountered this square pattern after running simplify? I simplify from 1.3b to 300m then to 15m. Previously this workflow was worked out fine for 100s of models. But recently it started to happen with a few of the models with very high poly counts.

Any ideas?

Hello Dan,

please try to change Preserve parts to False and try simplification again.
