Simple way to merge/combine parts of walls, floors, and ceilings of a kit using Unreal 4.21

Greetings, I’m using the Scifi_kitbash from the market place to construct an underground base. Is there a simpe way to merge/lock the various parts of the walls, floors, and ceilings in place. I know its probably simple, but unfortunately I’m unable to figure this out. i was going to purchase the Buildingtools plugin, but it hasn’t been updated for 4.21 yet.

You either need to group them in the editor ( select a bunch and click CTRL-G ). Or you need to make them into one mesh ( select them, right click and choose Merge actors… )

No worries. Also take a look at ‘layers’ in the editor. It’s a bit like grouping, but the objects aren’t actually grouped.

Grouping can be a pain sometimes because you have to keep taking members out and putting them back in again. Layers is a nice halfway house, because you can double click the layer, and get everything selected, but you can also pick one part and move it etc…:
