Simple Virtual Texturing Trail

Hi all ,
I am trying to use the virtual texturing to leave a trail and use it for blend a simple material. Iong ago i got from the market the “Surface Trails” project .

I am failing understanding why my set up dont work, and why other works .

I am using only unreal-planes ,
set up 2 materials one for the ground, and one for the ““footprint”” .
I set them up to point to the Virtual texture i created
they are inside the VirtualTexture Volume.
What am i missing ?
