Simple move to location not working

Can you disconnect the Enhanced Input movement for a moment and just try:

I am wondering whether the EI keeps sending conflicting requests to the controller.

In project settings or this

This.

it just prints “hello” when I press 1

At least we know it’s not EI doing something strange. I am out of ideas at this point. :expressionless:

Remove and re-add the navmesh? The equivalent of switching it off and on again?

Could it have been that I moved it from one Disk to another and something happed. I tried that still didn’t work. Btw I am using 5.1.1 maybe I update it to the newest version and it will work.

If you mvoed the Engine itself, then yes. If you mean just the project folder - that’d be very unlikely to cause issues.

Hi all,

I just noticed something:

In your post with all of your colored comment boxes, You have a Dark Green ‘Light_Anim’ section - There is a looping timeline playing that’s setting the location of your Sphere. I wonder if that is somehow interfering. (It is ‘relative location’, but I’d disable anything affecting location when troubleshooting this)

I foolishly assumed the ligthball was not the root of the actor. Is it?!

No its not.

Right. It couldn’t be because this is a character class with a capsule at the root.

Still doesn’t work

To solve the Simple move to location You would simply Take the player and add the simple move function and what everyone is saying to add, then open your panel for (QuicklyAddToProject) Tab and then go to the Volumes, Next click ~(Nav Modifier Volume)~ This is the way I have found to fix this error, ive been looking for it for quite some time.

What works for me after all, was see that the Z point I was testing its at ZERO “0” But the player
its on a ground about 300, So i just inserted an approximated Z level and worked!
