Simple animation import

Hello,
I have pretty simple 30 frame animation - cube (0 frame) rotating to 45*, and in 30 frame - it becomes rhombus (powered by Maya  Also i export it in fbx with checked necessary animation checkboxes and checked 0-30 frame.

How can i import it to ue?

So, after few hours by playing with checkboxes it gives nothing. This way am i need to create skeleton for cube? and blend it’s weights to skeleton? or there is some another way to import pretty simple animations?)

yeah, already got this  with 1 bone everything works, provided that the animation keys are written in this bone and the cube is attached to it

If you export it as an fbx file and import it into ue4, you will get the option to import the animations. I believe it needs to be a skeletal mesh, and therefore would need a skeleton to have animations be imported. Good luck!
