Ancient Graveyard Environment ( LORE )
Hidden beneath a veil of eternal mist, this ancient graveyard stands as a forgotten threshold between the living and the dead. Once a humble village square, time and tragedy transformed it into sacred ground for the departed. The dry fountain at its center no longer carries water—only memories—its stone worn smooth by centuries of mourning hands.
Twisted, leafless trees claw at the gray sky, their roots tangled with unmarked graves and broken headstones. Wooden fences hastily assembled suggest desperate attempts to contain something unseen, while abandoned tools and shields hint at a final, futile defense. The surrounding cottages, sealed and silent, watch over the square like empty witnesses, their doors never opened again.
Locals believe the graveyard awakens at dusk. Whispers ride the fog, and shadows move where no life remains. Some say the spirits are not restless by chance—but bound here by an ancient oath, or a forgotten sin buried deeper than the graves themselves.
This is not merely a place of death.
It is a place that remembers.
