Shrinking ground (arena)

Hello!

We’re a group working on an idea for a school project, and I`m doing a bit of research to make the creation process a bit more tidy.

Alright, so the question is; how would you go about creating a shrinking ground?

Our plan for the project is to make an arena, and while fighting the ground will be shrinking around you (with i.e. lava as a deadly hazard around the “shrinking platform / ground”).

The first idea I got was to simply create an animation in Maya and have it shrink like that. But I’d very much like to do it in blueprints and be able to control it from there.

I hope someone has the time to take a shot as this!

Hey Mats,

The below blueprint would scale the width & length of a given static mesh (Floor) over time, with the speed being controlled by the ShrinkSpeed float.
