show in explorer problem

Hi
I have a problem because I created a project in which I worked in for like a week and it has a ton of stuff in it so today i wanted to save it properly and while scrolling trrhough my projects I noticed that there was a thing that said show in explorer , I clicked on it and I thought that my project was saved on my desktop but unfortunately when i opened it again there was only an empty landscape without all my content I’ll upload a picture

this is what it looks like now and this is what it looked like before

Hey there @HapacheEma1! Welcome to the community! If you created a new level before, it’s likely not the start up level. Starting a fresh open would map looks like this. So the first thing we need to do is verify this project is one and the same and that your level is there.

Open your project through the launcher instead of wherever you think it’s stored for now, as the launcher is location agnostic, if it knows where you opened it from initially it will open it from there regardless. Then when you’re in the correct project, go to your content drawer at the bottom, go to the topmost folder for your content, then click the filter and type in level then click it. This should filter to only show you all levels in your project. If there’s more than one, check them out and see if any are your scene.

If you found your scene there, great! Then we can proceed to make that your startup scene if you’d like by going to project settings and set the editor startup map, and likely your game default map as well:

If you didn’t find the level in any of your projects, we will have to look at recovering it. Unreal autosaves often so it’s not too difficult, but we do have to find the project you were working from for this to work. So if the level doesn’t work out, try to find the assets you used. Then we’re going to right click one of your content items and click show in explorer once again. Then you need to go out to the base rolder for the project the Saved → Autosaves then try to find the level in the hierarchy.

Let me know how it all goes!
