I like being able to use the arrows to go forward or back on the 2d images.
but i would also like to have keyboard shortcuts to cycle through control points. and maybe even having some info on the cursor showing which is a current one.
would be nice to be able to avoid dragging from 1d view each time.
another separate topic for browsing images with arrow keys: https://support.capturingreality.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115001351292-Browse-through-images-with-arrow-keys,
could you please specify shortcuts for what actions regarding the cycling through CPs do you have in mind?
you do not need to drag CPs from the 1Ds, there are more ways to place and handle control points, please have a look at the Control Points tutorial in the Help section of the software
I have the same request, because:
I would like to go through 1 image at a time and then add control points 0, 1 & 2 etc.
Currently switching between control points is long winded. As is the problem of adding new control points instead of the control points intended.
If this doesn’t exist, perhaps we could have programmable keys?
“Switching between control points” I mean that sometimes when I try to add the next point (for example, control point 0) it will start a new set such as cp4, cp5 etc. This is annoying and then needs unravelling.
Hi Graham,
when you are adding already created control point on image this have to be selected in 1Ds view before placing it.
If you are adding new control point, the new name of control point is created. Have you seen this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S00_mLfbx6o&t=339s ? There you can find more tips regarding the control points.
