Shadows from one-sided geometry

Hello everyone, I suspect that this is a hackneyed question, but I did not find the answer.
UE 5.2, a model of a palm tree, whose leaves are made with the usual one-sided geometry.
Previously, I already encountered the fact that unreal did not project shadows from geometry to which there is no external side, and simply extrude solved the issue. But here I would not like to resort to this, since this is an extra, unnecessary geometry in large quantities.
Tell me, is there a way to make clear leaf shadows using some settings in Unreal itself?
