Shadows flicker with Movie Render Queue, RTX, GPU Lightmass - Metahuman UE4

My shadows for all of the hair (eyelashes, eyebrows, etc.) look terrible which is making Metahumans unusable with Movie Render Queue.

I don’t know if this is a problem with Grooms or with Metahumans, anyone know a possible fix?

In the example video, I have a point light that moves, which makes the problem more obvious, but this problem exists if the light is stationary also.

The shadows flicker and are pixelated. Unusable for cinematic render. What am I doing wrong?


What settings are you using on the movie render queue?

@doommate hey mate - did you find a fix for this? i’m having the same issue

I think this has something to do with the actual light source. I noticed this issue occurs when deep shadows is enabled in the lightsource.
