Hi hive mind – i was hoping you could enlighten me as to ‘Why’ these assets came from Marketplace the way that they did.
Kitbashing a mountain together and the mountain pieces from one marketplace pack wasn’t casting shadows (Nanite, Lumen, yes, tried the usual trobuleshooting)
eventually found a material parameter “ShadowLength” and i actually can’t even find that in the parent material – but when i change it to 0 the shadows start to behave as I’d expect.
So, I’m trying to understand what and why this parameter might exist. It sits next to contact shadows in the MI, but i don’t think they are related… and is this a material default parameter than can be added somehow?
