Shader Complexity is broken. It only displays half of the view, and within that half the zdepth mask gets squashed two more times and overlaps the shader cost, making the image completely unreadable. Has anyone run into this issue?
This problem happens regardless of whether VR is enabled or disabled, UE5.7.
Hey there @FRAKeal! Welcome to the community! I can’t seem to replicate this issue in 5.7.2, is the shader complexity view broken on other (default) projects? It does seem like it could be related to VR rendering modes, but since you had already checked that, there might be some other setting at play.

Unfortunately, I haven’t tried another engine version, since 5.7.1 is the main one for the project. Before that, this issue didn’t exist.
Also, the problem occurs only in Forward Rendering, and rebuilding the engine, the project, and the shaders doesn’t help. Moreover, after rebuilding the shaders, Shader Complexity now doesn’t show anything at all in Forward (attached pic).
However, the shader complexity stats are still present in the shaders themselves.
Also, this issue affects about half of the team, some have it, some don’t.
That is interesting! Are there any correlations between the environments each team member that is affected? Particularly OS/version and graphical setups? If possible, could you submit a full Bug Report over here for documentation? I have a feeling this issue is going to get hyper specific.
