I’m installing UE at win10, when I use serup.bat, it occur this error “failed to rename .ue4dependencies.tmp to failed to rename .ue4dependencies”
Is this a source build? In this case, could it be the files are in a read only state?
Just in case someone is experiencing this. Was getting this problem with Setup.bat of UE 5.5 in Windows 11. I ensured I had write permissions on the entire directory and executed the Setup.bat with the CMD windows instead of directly clicking the file. Hope this helps.
