Setting up an Audio Input Control

So I am relatively new to Unreal Engine and I am working on an experimental project that requires an audio input to control the game.

I was wondering if it is possible to set up an input control where it uses high and low pitch noises, using a microphone, to drive a character, much like the mobile game Yasuhati where shouting causes the character to move and jump.

In the upcoming 4.22, they are adding a spectral analyzer which may be of use:

  • Spectral Analyzer for Submixed Added to Real Time Analysis Tools. In addition to the Envelope Follower, designers can now analyze a Submix’s Spectral Energy during gameplay to drive Blueprint automation.

The preview is already available btw…
