Setting Tiling too high breaks material

I have a very large ground mesh and I am trying to apply a material to it. However, using texture coordinate node, I set U and V tiling to something like 1000+ and up close the whole material jiggles. If set even higher it starts to distort and do even weirder things.

What causes this and is there a workaround for this?

I am using grass texture from megascans, could it be that I need higher res texture?
