Alright so I am a bit corn-fused here…lol
I have a text Render on a Object in a BP…when Pawn enters trigger box I get it to appear not a problem…but you canonly see it if the light is directly on it…how do i get the text to “glow” or show hen there is no light directly on it?
I am stumped…but that doesn’t take much with Unreal Engine 4…
I know that I can place a spot light on it…but this would ruin the effect of the dark location…
you have to modify your textMaterial :
-Set it to Unlit
-Choose and Emessive color
Okay I get the Emessive Color…
But I am not sure how to set it to Unlit…

So I i decided to create my first Font Material and I do not understand something…How come your Font Param looks like text where as mine looks like a White Out Block
you need a fontsample or param and add a font to it
I have done that…I imported a text font…Created a Font Texture…Setupt FOnt Param in my Material…Added Said Created Font Text…and Still I am getting a white block…
choose the alpha chanel not the red one
Sorry to be frustrating…I did that…but still my Font Param is still a Solid white Block…
