Setting a new default bone position for a skeleton

Hi, I have imported a spaceship into my game. But its default skeleton has the doors open. I would like to edit the rotation of the door bones so they are closed by default. Just editing the rotation in the detail panel does not save permanently, how would I do this permanently? Thanks

Generally you would want to set your bones to whatever you need them to be inside of the program you made them in, like Blender, Maya, etc. However, if you need this for animations, there may be some solutions.

You can create a pose asset and/or retarget your base pose for your animations.
