SetFocalPoint / SetFocus + Sight AIPerception Snaps to Position VS Follows Rotation

Hi everyone!
I searched the forum and tried the various solutions but can’t seem to make this work.

I have “Use Controller Rotation Yaw” set to off.
“Use Controller Desired Rotation” set to on
“Orient Rotation To Movement” set to on.
This gives the character nice slow rotations based on the “Rotation Rate”.

I have AIPerception for Sight and I’m trying to get it to rotate with the character smoothly as opposed to snap to each general direction. I tried using SetFocalPoint, SetFocus as well as manually with RInterp but nothing fixes the snapping of the sight perception.

Here is a very basic BTTask that I have for the last noise location the actor hears:

Does anyone know how to fix this?
