Set View Target with Blend gimbal lock problems

I am having some problems with the rotation of my camera using the built in function Set View Target with Blend.
It seems that when i switch the view target it does a weird gimbal lock.

So i kinda scrapped the whole set view target with blend and it works now!
But I think the bug has something to do with the camera actor because I tried to make it a child actor to Interactive actor and it yielded different results.
I just dont have time to fix it so i found another solution.
