"Set Sprite" script help

We are trying to create a blueprint that will change a blue ring to red when the player flies through the ring (colliding with a trigger box). When the player hits the trigger box, nothing happens, the blue ring remains blue. We tried testing the “set sprite” node by telling it to print text when it receives input from the box trigger, which it did. But we cannot figure out what is missing from the script to set the sprite to the red circle. Any help? (screenshot of current script)
