Set shadow quality node not working in ue4.27

Im trying to add shadow quality settings to my game, but for some reason the ‘Set shadow quality’ node isnt working.

I think you need an ‘apply settings’ node?

ok, i got the shadow thing working (i dont know how but i did) but there is another problem now; texture settings are doing the same thing, and are defaulting to medium

nvm, they both just started working like a few times after playing the game for some reason
