I’m relative new to unreal engine so i’m not even sure if this is possible but i assume it should be no problem, i just don’t know were to start.
I have this architectural space, when the user gets close to a display table a drawer opens, this works fine and was done with a simple blueprint. the problem is that since its movable the lighting looks out of place but if i manually set it to static then the inside is black. so what i want to do is.
- create a blueprint that checks before the lightmap calculation starts and sets the drawer to static and move it out so the lighting inside can be calculated, once is done sets the mobility back to movable and put it back on its location.
is this even possible?
