Set actor location node places him in the air

I have an animation where my character is hanging on a ledge and climbs up, just before the animation finishes I set the actors location to the impact point of a tracer that detects of their is a flat surface above him, however the character is placed floating and snaps back down in less than a second. I’ve tried reducing the Z value but it doesn’t do anything until it’s low enough to fall through the floor or snap back to the ledge.

I might be able to help if I could see the code you’re using…


Apologises for the quality, this forums being real tight with the max size, the first is the tracer, the third is the moving and the second is the return to walk mode. I should add that I expereience this problem regardless if teleport is ticked or not.
