Server travel... How to and is it possible with steam sessions?

I have been trying server travel and stuff, but I never got it to work, I was wondering if is there any kind of special way, can you save the IP or session if the server in some sort of variable in the pc of the client joining?

I fixed it, All I did was execute console command ServerTravel MapName?listen. No need for saving session across other computers…
