Serenity | Environment

Breakdown

"Serenity is a sci-fi/Simon Stalnehag inspired render made using assets from Quixel Megascans, UE Marketplace and Sketchfab. I rendered it using UE 5.2.1 pathtracing. Everything you see was made completely inside UE5 with some touch ups done in photoshop and lightroom. "

Hi there @Atlas2311,

Hope you’re well and having a great week so far!

The assets used in this project make it feel incredibly high quality. Especially the rusted roof in combination with the body of water - it makes the scene feel lived in. Beautifully done! I’d love to see more of your work. Do you happen to have an ArtStation with your other projects for us to look at?

Hey again @Atlas2311,

As a total sucker for level design and environments - every single one of these are just breathtaking. It’s more than merely being talented with lighting or asset placement - every project tells a story. Every still image is filled with detail and clues to what happened in the world beyond the pictures. Storytelling is how you can tell an artist is beyond merely talented, they’re exceptional. And it’s clear just by peaking at a few of these, that your art is crazy impressive. Thanks so much for sharing and I hope to see more of your work around the forums!

Hey there @Atlas2311 !

I for one can agree with Panda when it comes to being a sucker for environments and level design. I love the storytelling aspect that comes in all the details that are brought together into one scene or area. I think you’ve done a marvelous job with the modelling assets and textures as it looks incredibly well done.

I could be told that this was a screenshot for an upcoming live action and I wouldn’t think twice about it. You manage to capture realism very well in this scene and I hope to see more work of yours throughout the forms. Work like this deserves to be seen!
