Hi there.
As of UE5.3, I have been experiencing an issue with Sequencer that I have been unable to find a solution for. When I place a character in the sequencer timeline and add an animation, I can right-click the animation and navigate to the “Properties” menu. From there, I can scroll down and find the option “Skip Anim Notifiers.”
This toggle seems straight-forward enough, and the UE5 documentation does not give any further guidance that could further clarify what this feature is for… but no matter what, all the anim notifies in that instance of the animation will always play. This occurs whether previewing the animation in sequencer or playing the game in-editor. I have also tried with and without “Force custom mode” enabled and that made no difference either. I am also seeing this issue with the engine-default notifies like “Play Sound” and my custom Blueprint anim notifies.
Has anyone managed to get this feature to work? I’ve been Googling this issue and searching through these forums for the past several hours and there’s shockingly little results of anyone talking about the feature at all.
