i have a c++ project running with “debuggame editor” “win64” on win10 ue4.12.4.
When i’m adding a new level sequence from the toolbar, the first thing i do is to click on the camera symbol which adds a camera cut and a camera.
Then i position the camera and in the sequencer i select the transform track and press “s” to initialize the starting position.
But as soon as i drag the timeline position indicator the name of the cameracomponent turns red and the mouseover-message says: the object bound to this track is missing
We have assigned a technician to look into this issue. Please do not bump threads that have not gone unanswered for 4 or more days. This clutters the answerhub and makes it difficult to parse through. If after 4 days you have not heard anything, please feel free to bump the thread once.
I’m not getting this bug on binary builds or on development editor builds. Any chance you can try with a Dev-Editor build and let me know what happens? Can you also try this in a binary (launcher) build in a blank project to see if it reproduces in that case for you?

So I’m having the same problem. I changed the name of a component inside of a character and Sequencer says the object bound to this track is missing. The component is in red and has no way of reloading, refreshing, or pointing it to the correct component. (It would be nice if this was an option, like in AfterFX or if it automatically did this).
I have good news actually its not a bug. The “red warning” indicates that the playhead in the time line is outside of the working range (green and red vertical line). So its supposed to be like that so that the camera spawns in when the work range kicks off to save on draw calls. That’s all no biggie
