Sequencer playback speed too slow


I’m working on scenes for a movie and something strange is going on with my sequences. They run much slower than real time, despite the playback speed being set to 1x.

Clocked it using a stop watch and apparently 15 sec in editor = 20 sec irl.

Realized this yesterday when my scenes were imported into Premiere as PNG sequences.

Made a new project (same fps, same version of UE4) and everything works as expected.

Would be grateful for any input on this…deadline’s coming closer.


scene too complex for hardware?

Nope, but I fixed it - by setting the clock source to “platform”.
