I have been working on a cutscene that has some bullet time moments. I had used a Time dilation track but that ended up causing problems, so I want to try a Time Warp track. The problem is I can’t find any clear documentation what the difference is between Time Warps two modes; “Time Warp Curve” and “Play Rate Curve”.
I found a reddit post that states:
“Time warp affects the global time scale - meaning the simulation as a whole slows down / speeds up, physics, Niagara etc - whereas play rate only slows down or speeds up things that are part of the sequence.”
Its a reddit post, so I don’t know how true it is. What then is the practical difference between Time Dilation and a Time warp Curve? Does a Play Rate Curve only effect animation?
