Hi guys, I had a problem in the last 2 days. I use the sequencer with 2 metahuman and either none of them play the animation or i need to force custom mode to make them play the animation. By using custom mode, there is one frame (first one) that pop the A pose of the meta human making it unusable. I always do transition with weight from the current “game pose or animation” to the sequencer. I found out a way to do it so i am sharing it for all. Here the solution in the reply
First of all, when you add the metahuman into the sequencer, in the animation (for this exemple the body) the sequencer choose the defaultslot →
If i check the other metahuman that i added we have defaultslot1 →
As you can see, the sequencer use different slot… Here my setting for each metahuman on body animation :
Now, for each MH you need too add the right default slot before the output pose so that the sequencer can animate you MH →
Well i could change the name but i used default value ! Here how to add a slot →
When you click on it you can add the slot name that you want (must be the same as the sequencer) →
Note : You can only use defaultslot on both as long as in the sequencer you change defaultslot1 to defaultslot.
Now you don t need to use custom mode on the animation track and wont be trouble with the first frame A pose.
