Sequencer animation carrying over bug

Hello!

We are having a problem in sequencer with our project since we converted it from UE4 to UE5 in January, we have since upgraded to 5.1 and still experience the same issue.

When we open a first level sequence/cutscene, the character’s animations behave normally but after opening a different one, the animation of the characters in the scene carry over from the previously opened one, what looks to be about 50%.

There is no keep state on any of the animations in sequencer, the weight track is set to 1 and the correct slot name is used.
We are using a simplified ABP for the characters in level sequece/cutscenes
When we play the game, everything behaves fine
When we close the project and open it again and open any cutscene everything behaves normally. The problem appears only when we open different level sequences in the same session.
We never encountered this problem before converting it to UE5,
we have not created new level sequences since, we are still using the same created in UE4

Please help if you have any clues of what is happening, we are loosing alot of time closing and opening unreal.
