Sequence Actor References Break Upon renaming my level? How to preserve sequences?

I don’t want to lose my cameras, assets, environment or the progress I’ve made on my maps, but I want to branch them into their own projects with the same sequence information. Is this currently possible? As it stands every time I rename the level the references break and have to be manually hooked back up each time, is there a way to avoid this? It amounts to a lot of extra work and I can’t imagine this is the best way of doing it. Anything to enlighten would be greatly appreciated. Still getting the hang of the sequence editor.
