Lately, when I go to the FAB platform and look at the 3D models section, I see a bunch of poor-quality, AI-generated models that cover up/hide the better-quality ones, and there are tons of them. This affects the earnings of creators on FAB and their visibility, as well as the reputation of the FAB platform itself in terms of quality. Sure, there is an option to hide AI models, but not everyone immediately sees and knows about this. There should rather be a completely separate category called ‘Models Generated with AI,’ where such low-quality models are even allowed. Also, why use such platforms at all when there are quite cheap generators available?
I fully support your opinion. Now there is so much junk content in FAB that it is quite difficult to find something good. And before, there was a selection on the Marketplace, and there was no low-quality content. Now, even AI-generated images are being sold by the thousands. And by default, AI content is enabled, that is, a person has entered the store and wants to find something, but does not want to dig into the settings, and he will see a huge amount of garbage. The person will just leave.

I would change the title thread to:
DEMAND TO REMOVE AI FROM FAB
Force Epic to wake the **** up, witness the amount of Votes and change your product thumbail to a “NO AI” image 
. Only way they’ll listen.

Yep, I fully agree with the first two posts.
After all, if you want A.I generated sludge topology, that has that typical A.I generated look about it that we are all getting to know so well, there are sites that will create that generic looking trash for you in no time. So why would you bother to come to what should be a quality store looking for rubbish you can create yourself in minutes?
When I started uploading my models to Fab, which I create with the attention to detail I myself would be happy to place in any game engine I wanted to be proud of, I expected Fab to be a name associated with quality.
A company quickly gains the reputation it deserves, and when it gains a bad reputation it’s extremely hard to shake it off.
Fab still has a chance to be the Rolls Royce in 3D models, gaming and the oncoming Metaverse…but at the moment it’s feeling like a shell of a car and not knowing if the interior should be plastic crap or leather and veneers.

I also agree with that. AI garbage MUST have their own section and those who want it should go play there.
Not only that, it should be mandatory a rigorous QA for those assets too. If they’re going to use AI it should be at the very least top quality ones.
As the matter of fact, I think Epic should obligate everyone pass to QA once again to be approved in the marketplace. Specially the junk that came from Sketchfab.
