I have tried before to import 3d rigged animated models into 3Ds Max before to separate the clothes mesh from the rest of the model, but when I try to do the same with the character “Owen” from the content example so I can separate his jacket to use it with a different character it just can’t it’s all one mesh, but inside the ue4 it’s clear that’s not one mesh, because I can select different sections and the jacket is a whole mesh on its own. Is there a way to do this? I need the Jacket alone animated with the skeletal.
