Brushes use the same setting - most annoyingly - in the Landscape tools and also across other workflows.
A quick natural switch between sculpting and painting is not possible! I’m more occupied with changing brush settings as with actual creative work.
Brushes use shared settings across:
- Sculpt Landscape (and most other sub tools)
- Paint Landscape (and most other sub tools)
- Foliage Mode (Lasso, Paint, etc.)
- Mesh Painting (inconsistent across sub tools)
I’m totally shocked finding this still in UE5. The fact that nobody else seems to care about that also makes me very angry.
Call it ignorance of developers/management or just lazy writing. Intention and a user-friendly approach certainly look different!
