Fortnite: OG features a collection of weapons that have been beloved by players and creators alike for their classic visuals and unique statistics. Even now, lots of players and creators show interest for these weapons and items in Creative, something that’s slowed down considerably since they were first added in December (only gaining the Zapotron and Guided Missile not too long ago). Part of the issue with adding these items is that some of them are visually identical to existing Battle Royale weaponry, which may confuse players at a glance who may not know the history and difference between the Battle Royale and Fortnite: OG variants.
To that end, I believe adding a separate content drawer tab for Fortnite: OG would allow creators aiming to create more classic experience to fulfill their goal as faithfully as they can (before itemization releases). This additional content drawer can include items that would initially seem visually identical (i.e., Tactical Submachine Gun, Suppressed Submachine Gun) without causing confusion for players and creators alike as weapons and items from Fortnite: OG would be isolated from Battle Royale weapons and items.
This would be a very valuable addition to the game as there are a lot of creators (like myself) who aim to make something much more closely in line with the style of Fortnite in the past, however, with lacking UEFN tools, I find my ideal game currently impossible. Preserving the items from Fortnite: OG in the Creative inventory would be a welcome gift to many of the original players who experienced these in 2018, as well as new fans of Fortnite OG who may have started last year.
