HALVR is looking for a talented senior tech artist to help expand our library of assets and tools, automate parts of our production pipeline, and help push the boundaries for photorealism.
Responsibilities will include:
- Creating advanced shaders and materials
- Real-time lighting pipeline
- Optimizing performance on all projects
- helping design/creative teams and engineering teams get together to create photoreal experiences
- implementing state of the art 3D pipeline blocks
- inventing new ways to efficiently produce work that blows our clients away
Required:
- Expert knowledge in UE4 rendering and optimizations
- Experience with Oculus Rift and HTC Vive
- Technical proficiency in 3D workflow areas like modeling, texturing, lighting & rendering
- Experience writing plugins/customizing 3D tools like Maya/3DS Max
- Excellent programming skills in scripting languages like Python
