Atom Universe is growing a relatively small, tight-knit and highly productive team to work a new social AR app for mobiles. As part of this I’m looking for an experienced mobile engineer to join the team. If you believe in open communication, delivering great results as part of a team and want to play a key part in the concept, development, launch and growth phases of an ambitious and highly anticipated project in Social AR then you just might be the person we are looking for!
In this role you will be responsible for:
Design, architect, test and implement game features
The creation of documentation to help communicate the solutions and tools
Maintain and optimize new and existing game features
Deliver high quality and well-structured code
Share knowledge and help colleagues
You are a programmer and a creative genius, and likely began programming fairly early in life. You love new programming challenges, and strive to deliver great products and technology. You are a curious and a fast-learner, and to nurture this we offer you an entrepreneurial environment, a small team and a big challenge.
The key skills and characteristics we need are:
10 years’ experience working on mobile applications or video games
Excellent C++ knowledge
Professional experience from game development
Professional experience from Android or iOS development
High sense of quality and polish
Capable of taking a technical responsibility for a product or project
Desired skills:
Experience with designing communication applications (voice/chat)
Experience with multiplayer virtual worlds
Experience with designing user experience for building 3D avatars and interior of living rooms
Be enthusiastic and quick to learn to apply new creative techniques and technology
Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4
Concepts of multiplayer networking and data replication
Professional experience from PS4 development
Working with content pipelines
