First of all, I apologize for taking your time and I truly appreciate it if you could kindly review my message.
I am the owner of the seller page named “Retopo Studios” on FAB. I would like to discuss my Gas Station map, which has been well-received by the community and holds an average rating of 4.5 stars. Over time, many customers reached out to me requesting fixes or improvements, and I always made sure to address their feedback by updating and improving the Gas Station project. Thanks to your platform and guidance, the map reached its current quality level.
I originally published this asset over a year ago and have submitted multiple updates since then — all of which were reviewed and approved without any issues by both Epic and FAB teams. However, after my latest optimization update, I was surprised to receive a notice stating that my account has been suspended for 14 days due to “Adult Content.”
Naturally, I was quite shocked by this. I carefully rechecked all models, textures, and even folder names. After thorough inspection, I discovered that two textures — on two models I had outsourced over a year ago — contained inappropriate “sex stickers” that I had not noticed before. I immediately contacted the original creator of these assets, and they explained that they had included these stickers as part of a garage environment detail (attached to a wardrobe) to make the scene feel more authentic.
Of course, I corrected these textures right away and promptly submitted an appeal with the updated project files. My appeal was approved, and the project itself was cleared — however, the 14-day account suspension remained in place.
To be honest, this feels quite surprising and even a bit unfair to me. Wouldn’t it have been more reasonable to notify me of the issue first, and allow me to fix it — rather than immediately applying a suspension? Especially considering that I have always been responsive to feedback, quick to make corrections, and proactive in maintaining the quality of my listings.
Please also note that the Gas Station package contains nearly 530 individual models. It is understandably difficult to memorize or check every single detail of each asset manually, especially since the project has been reviewed and approved multiple times in the past without any flagged issues.
Am I mistaken in thinking that this situation could have been handled in a more collaborative way, rather than resulting in a direct suspension? This is why I’m reaching out — to kindly ask for your thoughts and clarification on this matter. I truly value your input and guidance.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
