self publishing support a creator?

Hello,

A while back I saw a post from a staff member that epic games was working on allowing self published games the oppurtunity to use support a creator. is this still a planned developer feature?

I don’t think that’s what they meant.

Self service SAC is pretty much just the support a creator system (the ones where YT/TikTok/Twitch/etc. content creators can ask people to use their SAC codes so they receive a small cut from Epic. Upgrading it to self service would mean that creators dont have to contact epic anymore and just receive their SAC code trough other means. This isn’t dev related at all (or atleast, not from my understanding).

interesting, the wording used “campaign management” and it was on the self publishing/dev tools announcement page. I guess only time will tell. Epic has a lot planned for 2024-2025 and in 2023 they did a lot that was not publically announced as well.
